Bio
Marco Aimone is an art historian and epigraphist specializing in Late Antiquity, Byzantium, the Migration period, and the early medieval period. He is the author of the third volume in the Wyvern Collection series, Byzantine and Sasanian Silver, Enamels and Works of Art (2020). He is a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London, a Société Nationale des Antiquaires de France Foreign Fellow and a former Dumbarton Oaks fellow. Since 2015, he has been a senior advisory curator for the Wyvern Collection.
