Bio
James A. Doyle is the director of the Matson Museum of Anthropology and associate research professor at Pennsylvania State University. Formerly a curator at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, he has organized exhibitions and public outreach initiatives, conducted archaeological and conservation fieldwork, and published widely on the material and visual cultures of ancient Mesoamerica, Central America, and the Caribbean.
