Bio
Ellen Lever is a medical illustrator based in Hastings, England. She illustrates life sciences, combining her scientific background with a colorful, bold, and playful style. Inspired by biology and the natural world, her illustrations are fact-based, meticulously researched, and scientifically accurate. Lever holds a BA in fine art, a Ph.D. in science and medical research, and is a professional member of the Medical Artists Association. Follow her on Instagram @ellenleverstudio.
