Description
Gateways to Art’s Journal for
Museum and Gallery Projects prepares students for museum visits and
guides them on how to develop visual analysis skills and make connections with
what they have learned in class. The new edition features gradable assignments
for students to complete during their museum visits. A checklist helps prepare
for a museum visit, including a list of what to bring, a summary of what to
look for and take note of while there, and a short summary of the major forms
of analysis. Students will learn what to consider when encountering any work
for the first time, and discover that there are many ways of viewing and
interpreting great works of art.
