William A. Ewing is an author and curator. Formerly the director of exhibitions at the International Center of Photography Museum in New York City, and the director of the Musée de l’Elysée, Lausanne, he has curated exhibitions for museums worldwide. Ewing is the author of dozens of books, most recently Aviary: The Bird in Contemporary Photography, Human.Kind., and, with Danaé Panchaud, Flora Photographica: The Flower in Contemporary Photography.
