Parallel to China’s rapid economic growth is a boom in the decorative and fine arts, in interior design, and in architecture. Michael Freeman is a much-traveled photographer and author who specializes in Asian subjects. His many books include New Oriental Style. Xiao Dan Wang is a Chinese journalist and researcher based in London.
